Where access rules take effect

NextLabs applies policies using attributes such as a person’s identity, business role and location, together with the classification of the information being requested.

Permissions can affect both access to a record and the fields visible within it. The organisation defines the policy; enforcement applies it where employees and partners use information.

A policy branches from four source records to two views: one masks the final field in every row, while the other returns only records A and C.
Access policy enforcement

Access rules can determine which fields and records a person is permitted to see.

CloudAz
Central policy management for access decisions across applications and data systems.
SkyDRM
Digital rights management for controlling the use of shared information.

In September 2026, NextLabs announced enforcers for Salesforce and Snowflake. The products apply centrally managed policies through capabilities including dynamic data masking and record filtering.

These controls address different parts of the same access decision. Masking conceals sensitive field content, while filtering limits the records returned to the user. The outcome depends on the organisation’s permissions and the context of the request.
